Well to start this whole show :v here I have a video that shows how it looks through a wall
Sorry for the quality.....The video shows what the Jockey and Boomer look like when I move away from the wall. Other players might think I'm using a wallhack.
If you saw me playing suspiciously at that moment, my question is, WHY DIDN'T YOU ASK FOR A DEMO AT THAT TIME? I would have gladly let you see how I played, because those demos of yours are kind of weird.
That said, using all graphics on low doesn't mean you can see through all walls; there are some walls you can't see through.
Here are my in-game video settings.
Response to the Reported Player's Supposed "Defense"
Thanks for responding, but I regret to say that your explanation doesn't dispel reasonable doubts about the use of cheats. Below, I'll comment on your arguments point by point:
1. "Sorry for the quality... the video shows what the infected look like from a distance."
That's precisely part of the problem. A low-quality video, recorded with another device's camera and without a HUD (player interface), can't be considered valid evidence. Anyone can move the camera and similar movements. What's needed is an internal recording (using OBS or similar), showing your full HUD, pointer, pings, and settings in real time, not a "phone" recording.
Also, the fact that "other players might think they're using a wallhack" is already worrying. No one should have to constantly justify fair gameplay if it really is.
2. "Why didn't they ask for a demo at the time?"
Because it's not the player's obligation to ask for a demo right away. The HLStats system and the videos collected post-match are valid tools for retrospective analysis. The fact that a real-time demonstration wasn't requested doesn't invalidate the subsequent evidence.
Furthermore, the defiant and evasive attitude instead of openly cooperating raises further suspicions. If you're so sure of your innocence, why don't you record a full game now and upload it, as requested?
3. "Playing on low graphics doesn't mean you can see through walls."
Exactly. Thanks for confirming that. And that's precisely why your actions are unjustifiable. It's not about seeing blurred "shadows" or "silhouettes": the shots in clips 1 and 2 go directly to the Jockey and the infected hidden behind solid structures, without any prior scanning animation, no visible external information, and no obvious sounds to justify it.
Conclusion
Your "defense" doesn't explain either the automated aimbot-like behavior or the precise shots in areas where there was no visibility. A cell phone video and a screenshot of your settings aren't enough to refute evidence obtained with DEMs and clean recordings.
Let me make it clear again: if you're not cheating, record an entire game with your full HUD, pointer visible, and video and sound settings on screen, and upload it. It's the least you could do if you really want to clear your name.
Until then, the report stands.
Best regards.
